This segment focused on an empowering individual, Jessica Cotner, who managed to battle breast cancer in a not-so conventional way. Jessica sought the help of permanent makeup artist and medical spa owner, Ruth Swissa, for the areola pigmentation procedure. Areola pigmentation is when the micropigmentation method is used to create a three-dimensional areola — an alternative to painful skin graft and nipple reconstruction surgery.
