    • Yes, it is FDA approved. RF is applied to the skin through a barrier of ultrasound gel so the heat is not felt too intensely. The length of time the RF or Ultrasonic is used will depend on the area of the body or face being treated. A series of treatments of RF will give you results for several years and a person would continue to see tightening and lifting of the skin for the early months after the series of treatments has ended on into the years after. Laser may not give as long lasting results as RF. Sometimes people like to do a series of RF then do a few treatments with IPL and see very nice results with the overall texture and tone of the skin.
